Installation

Note

• The grab rails can be installed on wall studs or masonry walls.
• Installation work should be done by qualified tradespeople following New Zealand standard NZS 4121 for access and mobility design.
• A qualified occupational therapist or trained professional shall confirm rail positions in accordance with NZS 4121.
• Proper installation guarantees safe and long-term service of the rails.
• Improper mounting reduces the load capacity of rails, which may cause user injuries and wall damage.
• A minimum vertical clearance of 600 mm is needed above the top of horizontal grab rails.
• Horizontal and angled rails require at least 50 mm clearance underneath, excluding fixing positions.
